How to Setup Custom Domain Name on Blogger with

When you purchase a domain from, they assign an IP address (A record and CNAME record) for the domain. Hence, you need to change those records to point to your blog. This post can help you to change the A and CNAME records of your account easily.

Step 1
First you need to login to your blogger Dashboard then select the preferred blog you want to use the domain name for.

Step 2
Then scroll down and click on  Setting > Basics
Step 3
Now on the basic page you will see.

+ Set up a third-party URL for your blog - Point your own registered URL to your blog

-> Just click on it and then add your new domain name in this format

Step 4
An error message will show which says 

We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 12.
On your domain registrar's website, locate your Domain Name System (DNS) settings  and enter the following two CNAMEs:

Name, Label or Host field Destination, Target or Points To field

If your domain provider supports it, download the DNS settings file. 

Step 5
Now create a New Tab on your browser and visit or

Then click on "Domains" doing this will take you to a page were all your domain name are listed.

Step 7
Now click on a tiny drop down tab at your right the you will be giving different options

Now clcik on "DNS Management" 😐 this is were the real work begins you will be taken to an overview page just move your mouse up and click on "DNS Management" again.

Step 9
Now you need to add your "CNAME" which was gotten when trying to save your domain on blogger it is a unique code for every blog.

Step 10
Now add your "A" which is your "Google IPs" you can use the image below so that you wont be confuse.

Note: Try to delete other "IP Address" you find there or CNAME because it just a defualt settings by garanntor 
Step 11Now save it then go back and  insert the domain name on your blogger blog  and move on with your new domain name
